Putin, Biden didn't discuss Navalny in phone call - Peskov

MOSCOW. April 14 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and his U.S. counterpart Joe Biden did not discuss the issue of Russian opposition activist Alexei Navalny in the course of their phone call, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

"I don't think the Navalny issue was raised. No, it wasn't touched upon," Peskov told journalists on Wednesday.

Peskov described the conversation between the two presidents as "businesslike." "You can draw conclusions from the abundance of issues mentioned by both sides after this call that the conversation was quite lengthy," he said.
