Deaths of 3,621 Armenian troops in Karabakh confirmed - Armenian PM

YEREVAN. April 14 (Interfax) - The deaths of 3,621 troops in the war in Nagorno-Karabakh in the fall of 2020 have been confirmed as of April 14, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said.

"Death certificates have now been issued for 3,621 troops. In all, 321 people are missing," Pashinyan said in parliament on Wednesday.

Genetic testing of the bodies is being done and 201 bodies remain, he said.

"There are also the bodies of more than 100 people who have been identified, but their relatives are refusing to accept this fact for some reason," Pashinyan said.
