KAZAN. May 12 (Interfax) - A watchwoman was protecting Kazan School No. 175, where nine people died in a shooting incident on Tuesday, Tatarstan Education and Science Minister Ilsur Khadiullin said.
"The school had security. We have various forms of security. There is daytime security, and there is overnight security. [...] Speaking of daytime security, security was provided by a watchwoman. She managed to press the alarm button and called all the emergency services. [...] Hence, we cannot say there was no security," Khadiullin said at a press briefing in Kazan on Wednesday.
