MOSCOW/ROSTOV-ON-DON. June 4 (Interfax) - The Southern District Military Court has sentenced Russian citizen Tatyana Kuzmenko to eight years in a general-security penal colony for treason. The sentence will be deferred until her child reaches the age of 14.
"The court has sentenced Kuzmenko to eight years in a general-security penal colony. She will get a deferral until her child, born in 2009, turns 14," the court told Interfax.
Kuzmenko was found guilty of treason.
