Possible joint press conference by Putin, Biden being discussed - Peskov

MOSCOW. June 7 (Interfax) - The possibility of Russian President Vladimir Putin and United States President Joe Biden holding a joint press conference following their summit in Geneva is being discussed, but so far, this is an unconfirmed event on the summit's program, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

"The topic is being discussed now, and for the moment, it's an unconfirmed event on the [summit] program, that is, a joint press conference by the two presidents. Of course, this must be a mutual decision. After we agree to this or that option, we will inform you. President Putin will talk to the Kremlin press pool at the end of the program in Geneva," Peskov told reporters.
