MOSCOW. June 8 (Interfax) - The joint Russian-Belarusian-Serbian tactical exercise Slavic Brotherhood 2021 will take place under the auspices of the Novorossiysk formation of the Airborne Troops in the Krasnodar Territory, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
"In total, about 100 servicemen of the special brigade of the Serbian Armed Forces, 350 servicemen of the Vitebsk separate guard airborne formation of the special operations force of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus using 60 items of operational military hardware will take part in the joint exercise," the ministry said on Tuesday.
The Russian side is to be represented by over 500 servicemen of the Kuban Cossack regiment of the Novorossiysk guard mountain air assault formation of the Airborne Troops.
The exercise will take place on June 8-19.
"The active phase of the joint exercise will be conducted at the Rayevsky range outside Novorossiysk on June 16-18, 2021," the ministry said.
