Pavel Silayev anti-sabotage boat, Sergei Balk tugboat passing through straits into Mediterranean

MOSCOW. June 9 (Interfax) - The Pavel Silayev anti-sabotage boat and the Sergei Balk tugboat of the Russian Black Sea Fleet are passing through the Bosporus and Dardanelles straits into the Mediterranean Sea, the fleet press service said on Wednesday.

"The Pavel Silayev anti-sabotage boat and the Sergei Balk tugboat of the Russian Black Sea Fleet are passing through the Bosporus and Dardanelles straits," the press service said.

They will join the Russian Navy's taskforce permanently stationed in the remote sea area consistent with the rotation plan upon completing the scheduled voyage from Sevastopol to the Mediterranean, it said.

The Russian naval taskforce permanently stationed in the Mediterranean includes up to 15 warships and supply vessels, the fleet press service said in an earlier report.
