BAKU. June 16 (Interfax) - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has promised that his country will support Azerbaijan in the restoration of Karabakh.

"Now work is underway to restore all destroyed villages and facilities. We will build a new Karabakh. It used to be the center of Azerbaijani culture and, God willing, it will soon become the same center," Erdogan said in a speech in the Azerbaijani parliament on Wednesday.

The Turkish president emphasized that not only Azerbaijan and Armenia, but the whole world will benefit from peace in Karabakh.

"The liberation of Karabakh is the greatest achievement of Azerbaijan over the past 30 years. Not only Azerbaijan and Armenia, but the whole world will benefit from peace in Karabakh," he said.
