Estonian embassy counsellor leaves Russian Foreign Ministry (Part 2)

MOSCOW. July 7 (Interfax) - Ulla Uibo, counsellor of the Estonian embassy in Moscow, left the building of the Russian Foreign Ministry, where she was summoned earlier on Wednesday, without comments, an Interfax correspondent has reported.

Uibo did not answer questions from the media about the reasons for her visit to the Foreign Ministry and whether the reasons for the detention of the Estonian consul in St. Petersburg were explained to her, saying that "it's all been said before."

The Russian Federal Security Service earlier said that Estonian Consul in St. Petersburg Mart Latte had been detained while trying to receive classified information from a Russian citizen.

The Estonian Foreign Ministry called Latte's detention "a show" and a provocation.
