Russia believes NATO's ongoing drills in Georgia shouldn't be targeted against its security - Peskov

MOSCOW. July 29 (Interfax) - It is important for Russia to see that NATO's ongoing military exercise in Georgia does not follow scenarios tacitly implying actions against it, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

"Certainly, it's important for us to see that scenarios of such exercises should not imply some disguised actions in relation to our country," Peskov told journalists on Thursday.

The exercise scenarios are planned by NATO, and this organization does not conceal who its opponents are, Peskov said.
