YEREVAN. July 30 (Interfax) - The Azerbaijani Armed Forces have opened fire on Armenian positions situated in the direction of the populated locality of Yeraskh in Armenia's southwest on the border with the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
"At 11:20 a.m. on July 30, the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan began firing small arms of various calibers at Armenian positions in the direction of Yeraskh," the press service for the Armenian Defense Ministry said.
The Armenian Armed Forces returned fire, suppressing the opposing side's attack, the Defense Ministry said. There are no casualties among Armenian personnel.
