NATO's multinational exercise Agile Spirit 2021 ends in Georgia

TBILISI. Aug 6 (Interfax) - The ten-day multinational military exercise Agile Spirit 2021, which involved over 2,500 troops from 15 NATO member states and partners, has ended in Georgia.

"Largescale exercises of the kind enhance the professionalism of our forces. This exercise is yet more proof that unity is power," Georgian President and Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Georgian Armed Forces Salome Zourabichvili said at the exercise's closing ceremony.

Year after year, Agile Spirit has been bringing Georgia closer to NATO and has been contributing to stability and peace in the region, Zourabichvili said.

Georgia has been the host of the Agile Spirit exercise for ten consecutive years.
