MOSCOW. Aug 17 (Interfax) - A prototype of the Il-112V new light military transport plane has crashed in the vicinity of Kubinka, Moscow region, the press service of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) said.
"The Il-112V light military transport plane crashed in a belt of trees while approaching the Kubinka airfield for landing during a training flight. Details of the accident are being clarified," the UAC said.
A commission will be set up to investigate causes of the accident, it said.
