Russia, Kyrgyzstan planning to create joint air defense network

ASTRAKHAN. Aug 31 (Interfax) - Russia and Kyrgyzstan are discussing an agreement on the deployment of a joint air defense network, while a similar agreement with Tajikistan is undergoing ratification, Commander of the Russian Air Defense and Missile Defense Forces Yury Grekhov said.

"A draft agreement on the establishment of a joint air defense network of Russia and Kyrgyzstan is undergoing a domestic approval procedure," Grekhov said.
