MOSCOW. Sept 3 (Interfax) - The commanders of the Collective Rapid Reaction Force of the Central Asian collective security region have met at the Edelweiss range in Kyrgyzstan amid the escalation of tensions in Afghanistan, the Joint Staff of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) said in a statement on Friday.
"Representatives of the defense agencies of CSTO member states from the Central Asian collective security region and a group of officers from the CSTO Joint Staff attended the event," the statement said.
In particular, the meeting addressed the preparations for the Rubezh 2021 exercise to be held by the CSTO in Kyrgyzstan from September 7 to September 9.
