Russia cedes premiership to Belarus in Army Games 2021 sniper competition

BREST, Belarus. Sept 3 (Interfax) - Russian military snipers came second in the Sniper Frontier competition at the International Army Games 2021, the Russian Defense Ministry stated on Friday.

"In a fierce and tense struggle, the Russian snipers took second place, having ceded their premiership only to the host, Belarus," the statement said.

The Chinese team is in third place, the ministry said.

The Sniper Frontier competition is taking place in Belarus from August 22 to September 4 and involves teams from Belarus, China, India, Iran, Qatar, Pakistan, Russia, Serbia, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
