Cache containing grenade launchers, flamethrower, ammo found in Chechnya

GROZNY. Sept 6 (Interfax) - Servicemen of the Russian National Guard have found an arms and ammo cache in a forest in Chechnya's Vedeno district, the Russian National Guard's department in Chechnya said.

"Man-portable anti-tank grenade launchers, a Shmel infantry flamethrower, grenade launcher rounds, over 700 small arms rounds of various calibers, hand grenades, and explosives were found in the cache. Presumably, these items were stashed by criminals several years ago," the department said.

The contents of the cache were destroyed following examination, it said.
