Russia to vote against resolution condemning Iran's nuclear activity - Russian envoy

MOSCOW. Sept 10 (Interfax) - Russia will not support a draft resolution condemning Iran's nuclear activity if such a document is submitted at the next meeting of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for debate, Russian Permanent Representative to International Organizations in Vienna Mikhail Ulyanov said.

"There should be no illusion. If a draft resolution on Iran in tabled in the IAEA Board of Governors, Russia will vote against," Ulyanov said on Twitter.

Submitting this document to the IAEA Board of Governors will be "senseless and detrimental," he said.

"Let's better count on diplomacy," he said.
