YEKATERINBURG. Sept 10 (Interfax) - Electronic warfare specialists from the 201st Russian military base stationed in Tajikistan practiced signal jamming with the help of Leer-3 systems during a training exercise, the press service for Russia's Central Military District said on Friday.
"At the Lyaur training range, servicemen tackled a set of special tasks to deploy electronic warfare systems, fix course of electronic emission sources and jam mock enemy control systems. Crews operating Leer-3 systems, which use frequency failure modules, created a challenging countermeasures environment, jamming mock enemy mobile signals," the press service said.
