TCG working group fails to start coordinating roadmap for Minsk Agreements' fulfillment - LPR

LUHANSK. Sept 14 (Interfax) - Members of the political working group of the Trilateral Contact Group on Ukraine (TCG) failed to begin coordination of a roadmap for the fulfillment of the Minsk Agreements at a videoconference on Tuesday, press secretary of the delegation of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) to the Minsk negotiations Maria Kovshar said.

"Throughout the meeting, the Ukrainian representative kept trying to steer the dialogue away from work on the main task of the working group: the Contact Group's order to draw up a roadmap of a settlement of the Donbas conflict consistent with the Minsk Agreements and on the basis of written proposals submitted by the negotiating parties," Kovshar told reporters after a videoconference of the TCG political working group.

Attempts of representatives of the self-proclaimed Donbas republics to put the working group's negotiations back on the constructive track "were unsuccessful," she said.

"In fact, we did not manage to begin the fulfillment of the Contact Group's order," Kovshar said.
