MOSCOW. Sept 15 (Interfax) - A Serbian military delegation discussed with Russian specialists the prospects of cooperation between Serbia and Russia in the sphere of engineering support during a visit to the International Mine Action Center of the Russian Armed Forces and the 66th training center of the engineering troops in the Moscow region.
"A military delegation of the Republic of Serbia visited the training centers of the engineering troops in the Moscow region. During the meeting, Russian and Serbian specialists discussed further prospects of cooperation in the sphere of engineering support," the Russian Defense Ministry's information and mass communications department said in a report.
During the visit, the Serbian military delegation was shown the facilities of the training centers and Russian modern and prospective military engineering equipment, the report said.
The Russian Defense Ministry also said Russian military engineers had demonstrated the organization of the training process in the training of experts on humanitarian mine clearance, countering improvised explosive devices, and mine detection service experts.
