DONETSK. Sept 15 (Interfax) - The leaders of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics have signed an agreement to form a single customs area and integrate their economies, DPR leader Denis Pushilin said.
"Today we are signing an interstate agreement on the creation of a single customs territory and development of economic integration," Pushilin was quoted by his press service as saying.
The aim of the agreement is "comprehensive modernization of industry, growth of business activity, balanced trade and fair competition," he said.
