MOSCOW. Sept 15 (Interfax) - Moscow urges restraint in relation to the latest developments on the Korean peninsula, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
"We are watching the developments on the Korean peninsula closely. There is no reasonable alternative to the politico-diplomatic path of settling the region's problems," spokesperson Maria Zakharova said in a comment published on the ministry's website on Wednesday evening.
"In this context, we call on all partners to exercise restraint and prove, in practice, their readiness to restart dialogue in line with earlier agreements and commitments.
"We will continue coaxing the states involved into implementing the Russian-Chinese roadmap for Korean [problem] settlement and the provisions of the 'action plan' Russia and China drafted in 2019 for comprehensive resolution of the problems of the Korean peninsula."
