MOSCOW. Sept 16 (Interfax) - The United States and its allies ought to shoulder the bulk of costs as part of Afghanistan's post-conflict rebuilding, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at a press briefing in Moscow on Thursday.
"We presume that the U.S. and the international coalition's countries, which have been present in Afghanistan for the past 20 years, are responsible above all others for the current situation in Afghanistan," Zakharova said.
"This is the reason why they ought to shoulder the bulk of costs of Afghanistan's post-conflict restoration and development," she said.
