NEW YORK. Sept 23 (Interfax) - Whether the Taliban (banned in Russia) should be represented in the United Nations will be decided in November at the earliest, a UN source told Interfax on Wednesday.
"This won't be decided today. In fact, no one will be in a hurry at all. The matter will be considered by the credentials committee in November. In the meantime, the current ambassador [Ghulam Isaczai, appointed by the toppled government] will participate," the source said.
"This is a sensitive issue, no one is going to rush," the source said.
