MOSCOW. Sept 24 (Interfax) - Russia is sharing intelligence through the security services with various countries, including the United States, on the current situation in Afghanistan, in particular, intelligence on the fight against international terrorism, Russian Foreign Intelligence Service Director Sergei Naryshkin said.
"Yes, we are sharing this. We are sharing urgent information with colleagues from various intelligence organizations, which concerns issues in the fight against international terrorism, including threats coming from Afghanistan," Naryshkin said in response to a question from Interfax as to whether Russia is sharing intelligence on the current situation in Afghanistan through the security services with U.S. colleagues, in particular, regarding the terrorist organizations ISIL (banned in Russia) and Al-Qaeda (banned in Russia).
