DPR Foreign Ministry sees Kyiv's statements on readiness to open fire in Donbas as breach of Minsk Agreements

DONETSK. Sept 30 (Interfax) - By stating its readiness to open fire in Donbas, Kyiv has disavowed the ceasefire agreements and its obligations under the Minsk Agreements, the Foreign Ministry of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) said.

"In actual fact, this [statement made by the Ukrainian Armed Forces commander-in-chief] means not only Ukraine's withdrawal from the Ceasefire Control Measures, but also the destruction of commitments under the Minsk Agreements," the DPR Foreign Ministry said in a statement circulated following Trilateral Contact Group for Donbas talks on Wednesday.

Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Valery Zaluzhny said earlier that Ukrainian military forces may open fire in Donbas without having to secure their commanders' clearance for that first.
