MOSCOW. Oct 7 (Interfax) - Moscow is unaware of any tensions on the Tajik-Afghan border, Russian Special Presidential Representative for Afghanistan, Director of the Russian Foreign Ministry's Second Asian Department Zamir Kabulov said.
"There are no tensions on the border itself. Rather, there was some heated rhetoric of the two countries. [...] I currently have no information that the situation is not quiet there," Kabulov said on Thursday, after being asked by reporters to assess the situation on the Tajik-Afghan border.
