Russian Supreme Court upholds sentence given to ex-Inter RAO top manager Tsurkan, earlier convicted of espionage

MOSCOW. Oct 14 (Interfax) - The Supreme Court has rejected an appeal in cassation and upheld the judgement in the case against Karina Tsurkan, a former Inter RAO top manager who was earlier sentenced by a Russian court to 15 years in a general-security penitentiary for espionage.

"The judgements in the criminal case have been left unchanged," the press service for the Supreme Court told Interfax on Thursday.
