TBILISI. Oct 14 (Interfax) - Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has declined Moscow's proposal that the delimitation of Georgia's borders with Abkhazia and South Ossetia be started.
"Our state will have to complete the delimitation and demarcation of the borders with the Russian Federation, and definitely, this will be accomplished within the framework of a united Georgia's boundaries," Garibashvili said when commenting on a Russian Foreign Ministry statement following the 54th round of international Geneva discussions, saying that, to improve security in the region, Russia proposed starting the delimitation of Georgia's borders with Abkhazia and South Ossetia before their subsequent demarcation.
Tbilisi does not recognize Georgia's borders with Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
