Roscosmos director Rogozin to meet with head of China's space agency - corporation

MOSCOW. Oct 19 (Interfax) - Roscosmos Director Dmitry Rogozin and China National Space Administration head Zhang Kejian have held negotiations via videoconference, the Roscosmos state corporation said.

The video call took place as part of the 22nd session of the subcommittee for space cooperation part of the Russian-Chinese commission for preparing regular meetings between the heads of the governments of Russia and China, Roscosmos said.

"During the meeting, reports on the results of the subcommittee's work and the prospects for the development of the space industries of the two countries were presented, and steps on further cooperation in the creation of the International Lunar Research Station were outlined. The parties paid special attention to the creation of the legal and regulatory framework dealing with the establishment and use of the station," it said.

"At the end of the meeting, Dmitry Rogozin and Zhang Kejian expressed hope for a prompt in-person meeting as the global epidemiological situation normalizes," Roscosmos said.
