MOSCOW. Oct 20 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is meeting with representatives of the Taliban movement, designated as terrorist and banned in Russia, in Moscow on Wednesday.
The meeting is taking place behind closed doors on the sidelines of the Moscow-format talks on Afghanistan, an Interfax correspondent reported. It is also being attended by Russian Special Presidential Representative for Afghanistan Zamir Kabulov and Russian Ambassador in Kabul Dmitry Zhirnov.
