MOSCOW. Oct 20 (Interfax) - The Russian Pantsir-S anti-aircraft missile and artillery systems that were recently engaged in joint exercises in Serbia have been returned to Russia, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
"The Russian Aerospace Forces have finished transporting a battery of Pantsir-S anti-aircraft missile and artillery systems to the Russian Federation's territory from the Republic of Serbia, where the advanced anti-aircraft systems were engaged in the Russian-Serbian joint air defense exercise Slavic Shield 2021," the Defense Ministry said.
Upon returning to their permanent bases, the units resumed performing their combat duty, the ministry said.
