Security of Russia's embassy to Afghanistan ensured - Russian envoy

MOSCOW. Oct 20 (Interfax) - There is no need to send Russian security specialists to Afghanistan, Russian Special Presidential Representative for Afghanistan and Director of the Foreign Ministry's Second Asian Department Zamir Kabulov said.

"No. [The embassy's] security has been ensured," Kabulov told journalists in Moscow in response to a question from Interfax.

Asked whether it might be necessary to post Russian security specialists in Afghanistan to prevent any problems with the delivery of humanitarian aid, Kabulov replied, "No."
