Negotiators call for unfreezing Afghan Central Bank assets at Moscow talks on Afghanistan - Taliban rep

MOSCOW. Oct 20 (Interfax) - All participants in the Moscow-format talks have called for unfreezing Afghanistan's assets in foreign banks, Acting Foreign Minister of the Afghan government formed by the Taliban (banned in Russia) Amir Khan Muttaqi said.

"We had a very good meeting," Muttaqi told reporters in Moscow.

His statements were translated into English by the Afghan Foreign Ministry spokesperson.

"All participating countries supported unfreezing of the assets of Afghanistan's Central Bank, which are actually the assets of Afghan people," Muttaqi said.
