Broader economic cooperation discussed at Moscow meeting - Acting Afghan FM

MOSCOW. Oct 20 (Interfax) - The meeting in Moscow addressed the development of economic ties with Russia, Amir Khan Muttaqi, acting foreign minister in the Afghan caretaker government, said on Wednesday.

"Yes, we do have good relations with Russia, we discussed a variety of matters, including development and economic relations," Muttaqi told journalists in Moscow.

He noted the need "to improve trade relations among countries and foster economic integration in the region."
