Moscow-format participants concerned by ISIS activities in Afghanistan

MOSCOW. Oct 20 (Interfax) - The attendees of a third Moscow-format meeting on Afghanistan on Wednesday have expressed their concern with various international terrorist groups operating in the country.

"Concern was expressed about international terrorist organizations, primarily ISIS [banned in Russia], being active in Afghanistan. The parties reaffirmed their resolve to assist in providing peace and safety in Afghanistan and the region," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday evening.
