Group-IB founder Sachkov pleads not guilty in high treason case - lawyer

MOSCOW. Oct 21 (Interfax) - Ilya Sachkov, the founder of Russia's Group-IB cybersecurity company, has said he is not guilty of high treason, lawyer Dmitry Dikhtyar said.

"He said he doesn't admit guilt," the lawyer told reporters on Thursday.

The case in which Sachkov is implicated is not connected to Group-IB, Dikhtyar said.

Responding to a question from Interfax, the lawyer said he does not know if other people are implicated in the case.

The lawyer declined to give further comment.
