MOSCOW. Oct 22 (Interfax) - The adoption by NATO of its Concept of Deterrence and Defense in the Euro-Atlantic Area, which is particularly aimed at deterring Russia, shows that Moscow was right to phase out its official dialogue with the alliance, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"This simply shows in the most picturesque way how right Russia's decisions were a few days before with regard to halting the official dialogue with NATO. Such a dialogue is simply not needed in such conditions, and NATO's concept confirms this yet again," Peskov told journalists on Friday, when they asked him to comment on the strategy.
