MOSCOW. Oct 25 (Interfax) - Practically all participants in the Moscow format on Afghanistan have expressed their readiness in principle to consider recognition of the interim Afghan government, Director of the Russian Foreign Ministry's Second Asian Department and Special Presidential Representative for Afghanistan Zamir Kabulov said.
"The Afghan delegation has paid a visit hoping to gain support for official recognition of the new interim government of Afghanistan. Practically all participants in this meeting, with some minor exceptions, have underlined their readiness in principle to consider the issue in response to the positive reaction of those authorities to every relevant issue," Kabulov said at a virtual press briefing on Monday.
