YEKATERINBURG. Oct 25 (Interfax) - Troops and hardware from the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) are being withdrawn from the exercise area in Tajikistan near the Afghan border.
"Servicemen from the armed forces of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan who took part in the joint exercise of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) are returning to base from the Harb Maidon and Momirak ranges," the Central Military District's press service said in a statement on Monday.
The troops are performing a multimodal march on various routes.
"Helicopters from the aviation group of the 201st Military Base and planes of the Aerospace Forces are also taking part in the transportation of forces and military hardware," it said.
