ALMATY. Oct 26 (Interfax) - Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has ordered that a transit passage be opened for female judges and parliament members from Afghanistan, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry's press service said in a statement on Tuesday.

"Given Kazakhstan's commitment to international obligations in the field of human rights, the head of state has decided to provide transit passage for female Afghan judges and parliament members, as well as for their families," the statement said.

"Transit to third countries is provided in collaboration with international non-governmental organizations via the Almaty airport," it said.
