MOSCOW. Oct 27 (Interfax) - The first use of Turkish Bayraktar attack drones by the Ukrainian army has not caused any casualties or damage in the Donbas town of Hranitne, a source in the law enforcement authorities of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) told Interfax.
"According to the preliminary information, it was a targeted attack. There are no military or civilian casualties," the source said.
There is no damage done to civilian sites in the presumed attack area, either, the source said. "No damage caused by projectiles has been observed in the indicated area," the source said.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff said that the Ukrainian army had used Turkish Bayraktar TV2 drones in Donbas for the first time.
The drones attacked artillery positions near Hranitne, from where, according to Kyiv, Ukrainian positions were shelled.
