Weapon supply to Kyiv leads to destabilization in Donbas - Peskov

MOSCOW. Oct 27 (Interfax) - The use of Turkish Bayraktar attack drones in Donbas by the Ukrainian army proves Russia's fears that the delivery of such weapons to Kyiv will lead to destabilization in southeastern Ukraine, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"We really have good relations with Turkey but, unfortunately, in this particular case, our fears that the delivery of such kinds of weapons to the Ukrainian military could potentially lead to destabilization on the contact line came true," Peskov told reporters.

"We can see that as soon as the military acquires such weapons, they might potentially be used in that area of Ukraine, and this circumstance causes destabilization. It does not help settle the domestic Ukrainian problem," Peskov said.
