MOSCOW. Oct 27 (Interfax) - Defense interaction has been discussed at a meeting of the Russian-Indian group on military cooperation, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Wednesday.
"The second meeting of the working group for military cooperation of the Russian-Indian intergovernmental commission for military and military-technical cooperation took place on October 26-27," the Defense Ministry said.
A wide range of issues dealing with interaction in defense was discussed at the meeting, and the tasks for 2022 were determined, the ministry said.
"The event took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere in the spirit of especially privileged strategic partnership," it said.
India is one of Russia's key partners in military-technical cooperation.
India's total portfolio of orders for Russian military hardware and weapons is over $14 billion, Russian Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation Deputy Director Vladimir Drozhzhov said.
