Missile strike training held in Russia's Primorye

VLADIVOSTOK. Oct 29 (Interfax) - A missile strike control exercise involving Iskander tactical missile systems has been held in Primorye, the press service for Russia's Eastern Military District said in a statement.

"The participants practiced covertly deploying Iskander tactical missile systems, disguising and equipping fire positions and preparing initial firing data for missile launches," the press service said.

During the exercise, servicemen carried out solo and group missile strikes targeting mock enemy sites. Apart from that, Eastern Military District units reached designated areas where they practiced their skills and operational teamwork.

In all, more than 100 servicemen and 15 pieces of military and specialized hardware took part in the exercise.
