MOSCOW. Nov 1 (Interfax) - The Federal Financial Monitoring Service (Rosfinmonitoring), along with foreign counterparts and the Federal Security Service (FSB), is monitoring the situation in Afghanistan on the subject of migration flows and criminal proceeds, the agency's chief Yury Chikhanchin said.
"Internationally, our primary focus is Afghanistan, where we together with FSB colleagues and colleagues from financial intelligence agencies are tracking the developments. Work is carried out on migration flows and on detecting financial proceeds from drug dealing and organized crime," Chikhanchin said at a meeting with President Vladimir Putin on Friday.
