Russia to react to some states' attempts to disrupt existing strategic parity - Putin

SOCHI. Nov 1 (Interfax) - Some states are trying to disrupt the strategic parity that they have with Russia today, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

"We are well aware that some of our foreign colleagues do not stop trying to disrupt this parity, including with the help of deploying elements of the global anti-ballistic missile system in the immediate proximity of our borders," Putin said on Monday at a meeting with senior officials of the Russian Defense Ministry and defense industry representatives.

"We cannot fail to notice these threats to Russia's security and will react to them in a way required by the situation," he said.
