YEREVAN. Nov 2 (Interfax) - Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has said it is necessary to seek the swift return of Armenian prisoners of war from Azerbaijan and preserve Armenian historical-cultural heritage in the territories over which Azerbaijan has recently taken control.
Mirzoyan made the statement at a meeting on Tuesday with United States Deputy Assistant Secretary of State overseeing policy for Southern Europe and the Caucasus Erika Olson in Yerevan, the Armenian Foreign Ministry's press service said.
"At the meeting, the parties said that there is a need for a comprehensive settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict within the framework of the mandate of the OSCE [Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe] Minsk Group co-chairmanship," it said.
