Putin to chair conference on supply of new weapons to Russian Armed Forces

MOSCOW. Nov 3 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin will chair a conference on the provision of new weapons systems to the Russian Armed Forces and will meet with the permanent members of the Russian Security Council on Wednesday, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

"The final meeting in the series chaired by President Putin this week regarding the development of our Armed Forces and the defense sector will be held today. Today's meeting will address the provision of new, advanced weapons systems to our Armed Forces," Peskov said at a press briefing on Wednesday.

The president is also planning to hold a meeting with the permanent members of the Russian Security Council, he said.
